This page explains how Panya Academy uses cookies on this website, what each type of cookie does, and how you can adjust your preferences at any time.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to help websites function, remember preferences, and give site owners a general understanding of how their pages are used.
Cookies do not contain personal information by themselves, though they can be linked to personal data we hold about you — for example, if you are logged into a student account. You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
2. The Cookies We Use
We group cookies into four categories. Only essential cookies are placed automatically; all others require your consent.
Essential Cookies
Required for the website to function. They manage your session, maintain security, and remember your cookie consent choice. These cannot be disabled.
Duration: session & up to 12 months
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people spend, and where they arrive from. This helps us improve the website over time. No individual user is identified.
Provider: Google Analytics · Duration: up to 2 years
Marketing Cookies
Used to show relevant content and measure the effectiveness of our outreach. These may be placed by advertising partners and used to build interest profiles across multiple websites.
Providers: Google Ads, Meta · Duration: up to 90 days
Preference Cookies
Remember choices you have made on the site, such as your region or display settings, so you do not need to re-enter them on each visit.
Duration: up to 12 months
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site are placed by third-party services we use. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which govern their data practices independently of ours.
- Google Analytics — page analytics and user journey insights (if analytics cookies accepted).
- Google Ads — ad performance measurement (if marketing cookies accepted).
- Meta Pixel — social platform ad measurement (if marketing cookies accepted).
- Google Maps — map embed on our homepage; may set functional cookies to display the map.
We review our third-party integrations periodically and update this list when our setup changes.
4. Cookie Duration
Cookies are either session cookies or persistent cookies:
- Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used for things like keeping you logged in during a visit.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device until their expiry date or until you delete them. They are used for preferences, analytics, and consent records.
The durations for each category are noted in Section 2 above. You can delete persistent cookies through your browser at any time.
